We specialize in being cost effective and tailoring a unique plan to meet all of the accounting and bookkeeping needs of our clients. While we take pride in simplifying financial business practices, we aim to always keep our clients informed, making sure they are pleased with their plan. We work hand in hand, either with our client’s existing CPA or one of our associate CPAs, to make tax time easier.
Certified Quickbooks ProAdvisor In 2008, “Lori’s Bookkeeping Services” became Comprehensive Business Solutions. Over the years she has assisted a number of businesses throughout Connecticut. Her honest, thorough approach and detailed organization have given CBS a strong reputation within the local community of CPAs and various financial firms. In return, they consistently recommend her services, especially when ongoing clean-up and maintenance of books are needed. Through her experience, Lori has learned that while small business owners can be extremely skilled and successful in their professional field, they are often not as adept at managing the financial, bookkeeping aspects of a business. Her personal goal is to “maintain your books while you maintain your business.
Sarah assists in all aspects of the business and plays a key role in day to day operations. She oversees office tasks, manages daily procedures while providing excellent service to our clientele. Additionally, Sarah is proficient in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office.
Prior to CBS Tim had worked as a marketing manager for a local Real Estate company where he implemented and supervised all marketing campaigns, several of which involved major television networks. A firm believer in team work and follow through, Tim dedicates himself to see each and every promotion through to the very end. He is proficient in MS Office, Windows XP/Vista/7 and is also skilled in computer hardware, troubleshooting and repair.
Certified Quickbooks ProAdvisor & Quickbooks Point of Sale Certified In April of 2011, Nick joined Comprehensive Business Solutions where he currently implements Accounting projects consisting of system switchovers and general bookkeeping. He has vast experience utilizing Quickbooks and Sage products and adapts quickly to old accounting software for switchovers. Additionally, he has the entrepreneurial spirit needed to help identify and capitalize on revenue and expense opportunities. Nick has his Bachelor's degree in Marketing and Economics from the Gabelli School of Business at Roger Williams University in Bristol, Rhode Island and his Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Accounting at Naugatuck Valley Community College in Waterbury, Connecticut. Prior to working with CBS, Nick started his Project Management career in Pharmaceuticals where he acquired project management skills for a wide variety of national educational initiatives. Serving as a Senior Project Manager and Group Manager, Nick was responsible for all aspects of these activities including managing the multi-million dollar grant funding. After serving 10 years in the Pharmaceutical industry, Nick decided to take his passion for working with numbers back to school where he obtained his Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Accounting and eventually joining our team at CBS.
Quickbooks ProAdvisor Self taught and a fast learner, Roanda has developed a keen sense of client’s needs and is able to provide each and every client of CBS with superior service. Roanda is proficient in MS Office, Windows and QuickBooks.
Karen Cunningham, Accounting Associate Karen became part of the CBS team in November of 2011. Having worked for several major insurance companies she has an extensive customer service background. She has also worked in the banking and teaching industry. She is a graduate of CCSU where she studied Business Management. Karen's attention to detail and accuracy in meeting the requests of clients is always her top priority. Karen is proficient in QuickBooks and both MS Word and MS Excel.
Nancy Dickau, Accounting Associate Nancy joined CBS in January of 2012. With over 20 years of bookkeeping experience in various industries including insurance, construction, and law. She has experience with payroll, state and federal payroll tax returns, and sales tax returns. She is a graduate of UCONN where she studied Business. Nancy is proficient in QuickBooks, MS Word & Excel. Prior to her work in bookkeeping she had a career in IT in the insurance industry.
Debbie Locke, Office Manager Debbie joined CBS in November of 2011. Having had over 20 years experience in the customer service and banking industry she takes pride in her acquired organizational and customer service skills. Prior to working at CBS Debbie worked as an office manager for a landscaping company where she addressed all bookkeeping duties including payroll/billing and day to day office tasks. She is proficient in QuickBooks through the help of CBS' software training program. Additionally, Debbie is proficient in MS Excel and MS Word.
Dana Nollez, Human Resources Specialist Dana was hired in November of 2011 as our HR Specialist. Dana assists all of our clients with their HR needs including employee management and screening.
Dana has a diverse professional background and nearly 10 years of experience in the customer service industry. Over the years, she has acquired an excellent set of customer service and social skills. Dana is a highly organized and detail oriented individual with the ability to adapt to new tasks quickly. She is a native of Germany and is also a teacher at the German School of Connecticut. Dana is skilled in both MS Excel and MS Word.
